Wellness In Pregnancy with Laura Ash - July 16th, 12:30pm-2pm

Wellness In Pregnancy with Laura Ash - July 16th, 12:30pm-2pm

There are so many herbs and foods out there that people recommend, whether to avoid or to take every day.

What does the research say? What are the traditions?

Join Laura Ash, Clinical Herbalist, and mother of two, to talk about what herbs to take and avoid before conception, during pregnancy, and after birth. We will discuss common misconceptions and 'old wives tales' of herbs like Red Raspberry leaf, and the difference between expensive and cheap supplements.

This class is for those who are desiring to prepare for pregnancy, doulas, midwives, caregivers, pregnant people, and post-birth parents.

Please join us! Pregnancy friendly snacks will be provided.

About the teacher

Laura Ash is a clinical herbalist, mother of two, a queer woman, dancer, storyteller, and social entrepreneur. Laura has studied in clinic and privately with many teachers; David Hoffmann, Matthew Wood, Dr. Vasant Lad, to name a few. She has also been a guest lecturer teaching western herbalism at UW Madison.
