IN-PERSON: Soundbath Meditation for the Autumn Equinox: Expansion & Ease with Satyajeet + Japa Devi, September 29th 5:30-7pm PT
Join yoga teachers, meditation facilitators, partners + lovers, Satyajeet + Japa Devi for an expansive, heart-opening soundbath meditation in honor of the Autumn Equinox!
A soundbath meditation is an immersive, healing experience using various musical instruments, including the gong + alchemy crystal singing bowls, which allow the mind, body and spirit to be relaxed, rejuvenated + recalibrated. Soundbaths balance our parasympathetic nervous system via sound frequencies that penetrate deep into our cellular memory to promote ease and balance.
Our soundbath journey will include pranayama (breathwork), gentle asana + a heart-centered kundalini meditation. All levels of practice are welcome.
What to bring:
Please bring a yoga mat or blanket, a pillow or cushion, and a light blanket or shawl to cover up during the soundbath.
This class will be live in-person at The Scarlet Sage Herb Co., 1193 Valencia Street, San Francisco, CA 94110.
*COVID Protocols. Masks are required for all participants, although the teacher will be unmasked. Please do not come if you are feeling unwell. Thank you!
Satyajeet (she/her) is a queer, indigenous woman of color, mother of two teens, a yoga teacher, pleasure activist + sex educator. She recently moved to Walnut Creek from Los Angeles, where she lived + loved for over twenty-five years. Satyajeet currently works at farmers markets throughout the Bay Area. When she’s not working or teaching, Satyajeet loves to cook, read novels, sunbathe + play with her new kittens, Onyx + Reina.

Japa Devi (she/her) is a yoga teacher, surfer, cannabis cultivator + doggie mom to Coco Loco. She grew up in Sarasota, Florida + lived in Southern Humboldt for 12 years before moving to L.A. with her love. Japa Devi currently lives in Walnut Creek with her partner, stepkids + furry babies.

In-Person Events cancellation policy:
Out of respect for our teachers, we kindly ask you to cancel at least 24 hours in advance, as the seating for our classes is very limited. If you should have to cancel your registration, notification in writing should be sent by email. Please make sure you state your name and the name of the class in your email.
- An event credit in the amount of the original purchase price will be issued for cancellations received 24 hours prior to the start of the event. Please contact us by email to register for another class of your choice. Event credit is available for a period of six months - according to availability.
- No event credit will be issued for cancellations received within 24 hours of the event, nor failure to attend.
ADA Compliance:
Our Wellness Space and School of Traditional Healing Arts is located below Scarlet Sage, and is not ADA compliant; you will need to walk down 15 stairs to access the classroom and the Wellness Space. Please let us know if you need help walking into the space. We apologize for the inconvenience.
