IN-PERSON: Frequency of the Heart - Self Love Sound Bath with Satyajeet and Japa Devi - February 15th, 5-6:30PM
Join Satyajeet and Japa Devi for a special Valentine's Gay/Day Soundbath!
Our theme and intention is centered around the HEART chakra, connection and self-LOVE.
This workshop has been crafted as an inclusive, queer-affirming experience for expanding our definition and focus of love towards our own hearts and healing.
Now that it’s a new year, and all major planets have finally gone direct, we can begin to explore where (and with who) our heart finds peace, joy, and passion.
Please join us and the Scarlet Sage community on Wednesday, February 15th at 5PM to tune-in, expand, and embrace what nourishes our mind, body, HEART, and spirit in 2023.
Our soundbath experience will begin with gentle stretching, breathwork and a heart-opening mantra/meditation.
Using various musical instruments - including gongs, chimes, drums, and the exquisite Crystal Tones singing bowls - we will guide you through a sublime sound journey experience, connecting you with your own inner peace and harmony. This event is inclusive to all bodies, abilities, and levels of practice.
This offering is lovingly facilitated by kundalini yoga teachers and partners, Satyajeet and Japa Devi.
Please bring a yoga mat, blanket or shawl to stay cozy.
Satyajeet (she/her) is a queer, indigenous woman of color, mother of two teens, a yoga teacher, pleasure activist + sex educator. She recently moved to Walnut Creek from Los Angeles, where she lived + loved for over twenty-five years. Satyajeet currently works at farmers markets throughout the Bay Area. When she’s not working or teaching, Satyajeet loves to cook, read novels, sunbathe + play with her new kittens, Onyx + Reina.

Japa Devi (she/her) is a yoga teacher, surfer, cannabis cultivator + doggie mom to Coco Loco. She grew up in Sarasota, Florida + lived in Southern Humboldt for 12 years before moving to L.A. with her love. Japa Devi currently lives in Walnut Creek with her partner, stepkids + furry babies.

In-Person Events cancellation policy:
Out of respect for our teachers, we kindly ask you to cancel at least 24 hours in advance, as the seating for our classes is very limited. If you should have to cancel your registration, notification in writing should be sent by email. Please make sure you state your name and the name of the class in your email.
- An event credit in the amount of the original purchase price will be issued for cancellations received 24 hours prior to the start of the event. Please contact us by email to register for another class of your choice. Event credit is available for a period of six months - according to availability.
- No event credit will be issued for cancellations received within 24 hours of the event, nor failure to attend.
ADA Compliance:
Our Wellness Space and School of Traditional Healing Arts is located below Scarlet Sage, and is not ADA compliant; you will need to walk down 15 stairs to access the classroom and the Wellness Space. Please let us know if you need help walking into the space. We apologize for the inconvenience.
