The bright yellow-orange root of Turmeric (Curcuma longa) has been a staple herb in Asian cuisine, Indian spirituality and traditional medicine for multiple millennia.

Turmeric is native to the Southern tropics of Asia and belongs to the same family as ginger, the Zingiberaceae family. Nearly all of the world’s Turmeric is produced in India.

It is also the most well-known and researched herb in the Ayurvedic materia medica.

In Ayurveda, Turmeric is used to promote digestion, support the joints, nourish the blood, protect the liver and strengthen immunity. It is also known to be antioxidant and anti-inflammatory.

Strength Ratio 1:1:5 Suggested Use: 30 drops in water or juice, 1-3 times daily, or as needed.
