Niaouli is a common tree found in Australia. It has a soft bark and pink heart wood with deep penetrating roots. It produces fragrant flowers and even the leaves themselves are anti-bacterial. It has a slightly sweet, fresh, musky and medicinal aroma. Naiouli is more gentle, less drying and softer in scent then tea tree making it an excellent option for many people with sensitive skin. Niaouli is a great alternative to tea tree essential oil as it has many similar properties. It is a powerful antiseptic, anti-fungal and anti-parasitic and great immune stimulant. It is good for the respiratory system and helpful for allergies. Niaouli paired with lavender can help protect and heal the skin from radiation burns during radiation therapies. Niaouli is used in Veriditas Botanicals signature line of wellness formulas in the Acne Treatment, Athlete’s Foot and Eczema Treatment.
