Initiation into the Eclipse Season through the Nodes -Taurus/Scorpio with Mariana Balkar- April 21st, 6-7:30pm PT
Understanding the Nodal placements in one’s chart is a lifelong journey. Unraveling the connection, similarity and difference between the Nodes of the Moon is a pathway towards higher levels of awareness of one’s desires and fears. It is like an invisible thread is connecting the lunar nodes and we are slowly and carefully walking on this thread, back and forth, learning the art of embracing and letting go.
With this workshop we will walk together in an attempt to find the balance on this journey between North Node in Taurus and South Node in Scorpio. These axes are inviting us into the sensitive lands where security and control, possession and loss, material and intangible are intertwined for us to see the connection between our desires and our fears. We shall dive deep into these archetypes and what they represent for each of the signs of the zodiac.
In this workshop we gather before the eclipse season to reflect on the past and gain a deeper insight into the potential unfolding, and to be reminded that our value system is the starting point for our dreams and desires to take root. The tectonic shifts within what we attach our value to is underway. Understanding Taurus and Scorpio placements in one's chart is essential. Mariana is looking forward to guiding you through this process.
Mariana is a Circassian Astrologer, Writer and Creator. Born and raised in an ethnically segregated area of Russia, she moved to the US at the age of 18. Before pursuing astrology as a career she graduated from theater school in NYC, worked as an event organiser and grant writer for Environmental non-profit.
From the moment she started the exploration of the Cosmic language in 2011 everything began to change and shift. Astrology has become a tool of self-discovery, slow unfolding of the potential and a language through which one can connect to the Cosmos and to one’s true self. Mariana has studied Astrology on her own for 4 years before she began taking courses at Moscow Academy of Astrology.
She likes to weave traditional astrological techniques with modern astrological findings. Mariana believes that the main purpose of her work is to help students and clients to find their own inner teacher, guide and connect to their unique path through the art of Astrology. More about Mariana
