Video Recording: Community Herbalist Workshop: Top Five Herbs for Winter Immunity with Kelsey Barrett

$0

What makes a Community Herbalist?

A Community Herbalist is someone who takes care of their community by creating herbal medicine with local plants, while supporting traditional healing practices harmonized with modern research.

In this class, we will explore the herbal wisdom and practices of the community herbalist.

We will get a chance to talk about 5 key herbs to support building immunity through cold and flu season, and discuss which health needs are most important to the community as we shift seasons.

The class will include an extensive herbal monograph on garlic's mystical, medicinal, and ancestral uses. Additional herbs discussed will be shiitake mushroom, elderberry, and rosehips.

This class is an introduction to what the Land of Verse Community Herbalist Certification will dive into.

Any participant in this class can use the cost of the class as a credit for the 2023 Community Herbalist Certification.
