ONLINE: Tarot from Past to Present: Origins and Evolutions with Leslie Schaffer - June 30th, 6-7:30PM PT

$30

Anyone who has used the tarot knows that it is a powerful tool.  With any powerful spiritual tool we use, it’s important to understand its origins and the context surrounding it. Those who understand the history of the tarot can better unlock its symbols to deepen their reading and divination practices.

In this class, we’ll explore the origins of the tarot, its connections to ancient Hermetic and alchemical imagery, and its evolution from a parlor game into the esoteric and psychological practice we know today. We’ll also look at how the meanings of certain cards and universal archetypes have evolved over time to reflect the changing values of society.

We’ll also draw personal cards to explore our own origins and expand our own evolving divination practices.

Supplies to Bring:
- a tarot deck of your choice
- a notebook and pen
