IN-PERSON: Limpias for Spiritual Cleansings with Napaquetzalli - June 15th, 5:30-7:30pm PT
Limpias are a spiritual practice used in many cultures indigenous to this continent, especially in Mexican curanderismo/folk medicine. Limpias are done with fresh plants, flowers, prayers and intention.
They are traditionally done to heal from emotional and spiritual imbalances, or after acute shock and trauma to support the spirit and emotional body. Limpias can help during any major life transitions, to help shed stagnant energy, and to call in healing and clarity.
It is a beautiful process that helps one release emotions in a safe space with the guidance of plant spirits and ancestors.
In this hands-on class, indigenous herbalist and healer Napaquetzalli will lead the group in a self-limpia ritual and instruct participants in how to facilitate this practice for themselves.
This class will be live in-person at The Scarlet Sage Herb Co., 1193 Valencia Street, San Francisco, CA 94110.
*Masks are required for all participants, although the teacher will be unmasked. Please do not come if you are feeling unwell. Thank you!
